There are 4 parts of the Chapter Olympics Membership Program: 

• Has net growth in 11 month period

• Fun, Active Member Recruiting Program

• Fun, Active Member Retention Program

• Has and uses fun monthly newsletter

Members are the heart and soul of the Gold Wing Touring Association.  Even our motto says, "Destination Friendship".  When we live up to our potential in serving members, we have no trouble attracting new members and retaining our veterans. 

The Chapter Olympics program celebrates those fun, successful Chapters that can both recruit new members and retain veterans.  Having a net positive grown in the 11 month period from July 1st to May 31st is a reasonable Chapter Olympics goal for awards. 

A monthly Chapter newsletter is also a valuable tool for generating and sustaining a fun, strong Chapter.  Newsletters (printed, email and web-based) keep the lines of communication open for members, even if they can't make every meeting.
