Northern California Spring Fling
The theme is
Pirates.
When: May 22-25, 2009
Where: Mariposa, Ca (near Yosemite)
Come join us for
rides to Yosemite National Park and other gold
country areas and towns. There will be games, a
bike show, and a pot luck on Saturday night.
Camping is available on the fair grounds and
there are plenty of motels 2 miles away in
town..

Campout

Where: Willits, CA (KOA)
Come join
the fun at the Willits KOA campground!
There’s lots of great riding in this
area!! Visit the giant redwoods, Fort
Bragg, ride along the northern
California coast, ride the Skunk Train,
or just kick back and have a restful
weekend! Friday and Saturday 50/50
drawing, Saturday night pot-luck.
Pre-Registered Campers: $10.00 per
person per night. RV’s are welcome but
you must make your own space reservation
with the campground at (800) 562-8542.
Key word is “GWTA” and they should put
you in an RV space from #39 to #42 which
is right across the drive from the tent
campers.

us for a great weekend get-a-way at the
"Campground By The Lake" in South Lake
Tahoe! Friday and Saturday night 50/50
drawing and campfire stories. Saturday
lunch ride to Reno. Pre-Registered
Campers: $10.00 per person per night.
RV's are welcome but you must make your
own space reservation with the
campground at (530)-542-6096. The
Campground has elimated "over-flow"
parking for cars this year.

Tour Iowa
2009 is an IOWA GWTA explore Iowa riding
activity that can be ridden
singular or in groups at your leisure.
The destination sites are all Iowa state
and
county parks or recreation areas. Entry
fee is $10.00 per bike. T shirts are
$15.00
for short sleeve and $20.00 for long
sleeve. I would like to have the entries
in by
May first 09. This is a state activity
and all proceeds will go to the Iowa
State
GWTA Treasurer.

GWTA Texas State Rally
"Bikers & Boxcars"
When:
September
18th/19th/20th, 2009.
Registration will begin
at 8:00 AM on the 18th.
Where:
Texas State Railroad,
Rusk, Texas campgrounds
This rally will offer a
fun run, biker games,
silent auction, door
prizes, train rides,
bike shows, food and
biker vendors, self
guided rides and new for
this year, a geocaching
game for those of you
who utilize gps's. We
have activities planned
for all three days and
music throughout the
weekend. Come out and
meet other bikers!
Campsites are available
for bikers for
$10.00/night with two
bikes per campsite.
There will be RV/Vendor
sites available for
$25.00/night. We also
have tent campsites
available for
$10.00/night. Hotels are
located within 30
minutes of the rally for
those who prefer to
"hotel". Cotact us for a
list of motels. For a
taste of the past, catch
a short ride on our
special GWTA Rally Train
Special on Saturday 19th
at 12:00 PM for only
$10.00/person or our
Sunday Dinner Train at
1:30 PM at regular
price. Please make your
train reservation when
you register.

the geocaching will be

Ride for the
Cure
is an open
motorcycle
event to
raise money

Komen for
the Cure of
Greater
Cincinnati.
This is an
80 mile
pledge ride,
with awesome
door prizes,
club awards,
entertainment,
and some
incredible
awards and
prize
drawings!
